(18 Nov 2018) The research innovation and interest group talk series invited Prof. Nik Zainal Abidin Nik Ismail to talk on the topic “Challenges in paediatric research and orientation of clinical examination from undergraduate to postgraduate”.

Prof. Nik has highlighted the difficulties on parents’ skepticism and not letting their children to be a part of clinical research. This observation is surprisingly prevalent among highly educated parents too. Proper awareness and approaches are required to have a better paediatric research in the future.

The next half of the session discussed the differences of medical postgraduates and undergraduates. He emphasized on the higher evaluations and critical thinking skills on the medical postgraduates.
