Nilai, 25 April 2026 – The Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences (FPSK), Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM) successfully organized the USIM Microbiology Quiz Competition 2026 (iMICROBE’26) on 25 April 2026 at FPSK, USIM. Held under the theme “Voyage Across the Microbial Cosmos,” the competition brought together undergraduate medical students from universities across Malaysia to compete in a challenging and engaging academic event focused on microbiology and immunology.

Designed to assess participants’ knowledge beyond the classroom, iMICROBE’26 featured several competitive stages that covered a wide range of topics aligned with the medical curriculum, particularly in microbiology and immunology. The competition encouraged critical thinking, teamwork, and the practical application of scientific concepts while providing students with an opportunity to demonstrate their academic excellence in a competitive setting.

Beyond the competition itself, iMICROBE’26 served as a valuable platform for networking and collaboration among future healthcare professionals. Students from various institutions had the opportunity to interact, exchange ideas, and build meaningful connections, fostering a spirit of camaraderie and mutual learning.
