On 10th October 2024, “Supervising for Success: Effective Monitoring and Support for Diverse Postgraduate Students” was held at the fpsk usim exam hall.
This workshop is designed to address these challenges through several lecture sessions, interactive workshops, and panel discussions.

Its main objectives are :
1. Develop supervisors’ ability to provide guidance and support to meet the needs of students from various backgrounds.
2. Cultivate clear, open and culturally sensitive communication strategies to strengthen supervisor-student relationships.
3. Provide techniques to supervisors to help students overcome academic and personal challenges to ensure success in studies.
4. Equipping supervisors with monitoring and feedback methods that help students stay on track with research goals and complete studies on time.
5. Improve supervisory skills on the key characteristics of successful supervisors, with a focus on balancing academic guidance with personal support and understanding the diverse needs of students.

It is hoped that all participants will be able to take advantage of all the knowledge shared for personal and organizational excellence.
